request: longer sigs

itd be nice if we could have more than a 255 char limit. it makes sense if you're just going to fill your sig with text, i suppose, but not if you want an image with link as your sig + sys specs

just because the URL for an image is LONG doesnt mean the image is huge

EDIT: only reason im saying all this is cause if its raised some people will abuse the signature limit and have tons of huge images

yeah, so i dont have to post them every time i post a bug report or otherwise
besides, its a hell of a lot more interesting than "chikens are cool but you know you're always tempted to kick 1 "

you dont get it. just because a URL is LONG does not mean the signature will have increased in SIZE. the CHAR limit is what i am complaining about. not the physical size. there can be a limit on how many images or the size of the images or the physical size of the signature, thats not the concern here

but a big limit means more pictures...If you want to get characters chopped out just put your image through tinyURL...Then you can have 4 or 5 pictures..
