Different colors for different languages.

Postby pinobot » Fri Jun 24, 2011 8:48 pm

Hi,
I've installed the beta version and it's great but i use Dutch and English dictionaries and it doesn't distinguish between them, if i want to use Dutch alone i need to disable the English dictionary.
It would be nice if different dictionaries use different colors. Maybe a green weave for Dutch and, a blue weave for English and a red weave if the word isn't in both dictionary.
Keep up the good work. :)

Hi, I don't understand the issue. A word is marked as incorrect when it's not found in all the dictionaries.

Yes, but for instance the English word 'hello' looks like the Dutch word 'hallo' so when i typ a Dutch sentence and use the word 'hello' it doesn't show the word as being wrong.

That's by design. Speckie does not know which language a word belongs to. When words overlap languages, it's up to you to decide whether you're better off using 1 or more dictionaries.
