Why does Speckie install to %AppData% and not to %ProgramFiles% ???
%AppData% is suppose to only contain data for applications (like possibly the dictionaries for Speckie), not executable code. Matter of fact, my anti-virus keeps logging a warning each time iexplorer.exe attempts to execute Speckie32.dll as "data" from %AppData%. That is causing me a lot of grief. I can speculate the possibly some people who have problems with getting Speckie to work, might be caused by their anti-virus doing more than simply logging it, but actually down out blocking such execution of "data".
Is there some overriding reason for using %AppData% instead of %ProgramFiles% ? If not, could it be possible to change it?
